VCDD e-Notification - New Traffic Pattern
 

'An “All-Way” stop sign has been added to the intersection of Mulberry Lane and Belle Meade Circle near Hwy 42 in the Marion County portion of The Villages. There is currently an advance warning signal present to notify drivers of the traffic changes. Please use caution when navigating this area.'

Thank goodness. Long overdue, I hope it will slow down everyone that must be late for their appointments.....

I would also sincerely advise everyone traveling on Mulberry Ln to use caution at this intersection for a while. The stop signs on Belle Meade Cr (making this intersection a 4 way stop) will be new and unknown to drivers that have used that road / intersection for many years. NEVER assume someone will stop.

I am pretty sure it was for the design of the intersection rather people zooming for appointments. The divided section from Rt 42 to Mulberry lane was confusing for many people.
