Blinds for the sliding doors
 

Hi

Just moved in a month ago. House didn't come with blinds so we ordered them through 48 hours blinds. Was very satisfied. I never have liked verticals so I didn't buy them. Now every window in my house is finished except for the two sliding glass door area's. I have an Aspen so there are two sets of sliding doors and a window in between. I don't need the blinds for privacy because I back to a wall. I'm not in a hurry to do anything but it seems like I should because the sun causes shadows on the TV. Any suggestions other than vertical blinds. All suggestions are appreciated.

We have plantation shutter on ours. They slide past one another when you want to use the door and top and bottom function separately so you can adjust individually to deal with the sun.

We have light weight drapes, so easy to slide back and forth. I've had vertical blinds in the past and didn't care for them.

Drapes have lost popularity in recent years, but I think the grommet drapes look great, and one whisk of the hand opens/closes them easily. None of that old traverse-rod and pinch pleat, expensive custom fabric stuff that gets expensive/heavy.

We have sliding cloth panels. They come in different types of material and colors

Where did you get these type of plantation shutters?

We have the plantation blinds ordered for our patio door. Have to wait until after Christmas for them to be installed. Definitely not cheap but look awesome.

I have bamboo grommet drapes ....several panels per side. I do not close them often but they slide easily. I like them much better than vertical blinds or fabric drapes. Got them at JC Penny about a year ago. They come in several colors.
