Long Island Members
The roster of email addresses for The Long Island Club has reached 90 members. Unfortunately, a few email address have been lost. Last call. If you haven't received a news letter from me within the last two days, and your email is supposed to be on the mailing list please notify me and I will see to it, your address will be added again. There is also a Charlene Sasto who I have her name but her email address bounced. If anyone knows her tell her of the problem so we can correct it.
Anyone else interested, please let me know. |

99 and counting. Who will be the magical one hundredth member? Should I award them a door price for being the first three digit member? Maybe a new car, pay off their mortgage or maybe make them a character in my next murder mystery.

We are already on the list. But I do remember when the LIE stopped before East Meadow - there were sod farms where it is now. Just saying. (Uniondale, Selden, Port Jefferson, Smithtown, Coram, Sayville)
|
Not sure if Sayville was even on the map in 1956. East Meadow is now more crowded than The Villages. I do miss Eisenhower Park and Borellis. As well as racing down Hempstead Turnpike and Carmon Avenue when it was possible.
