Labor Day just passed and we had no trash pick on Monday.

Home owners put out their trash on Sunday night and let it

sit outside their homes until Thursdays pick up.

How difficult is it to put it back in the garage?

We had an unsightly mess of trash for 4 days sitting outside.

Some had been torn up by critters at night.

My dog smelled the same trash for thosr 4 days.

I thought we had more pride in community.

Just a thought.

I had the impression that TV posted garbage pickup days and when there are no pickups because of holidays that information is also printed in newspaper and on Amenities bills. Oh I forgot, some folks are too busy to pay attention to these things. Guess they are the same folks who insist on leaving their old telephone books piled up at mail stops despite notices not to do so. they figure since they pay amenity fees someone else will pick up after them. They also expect that their amenities fees covers repair of their ball marks on golf course greens and their divots and their doggie droppings around neighborhood mail stops. What a shame that some folks have no pride in our community. :dontknow: ???
