Yamaha light "pulsate"
 

The headlights on my Yamaha G22 "pulsate" at 20 mph and dim slightly at very low speed. They don't flicker on and off, just pulsate between normal and a little dimmer than normal. The battery is charged and has never quit on me. I've cleaned all the ground connections. Might I be looking at a voltage regulator issue or might I need an alternator?

First check generator belt adjustment and condition.
You'll want to check all your grounds including the headlight grounds and battery.
Lastly, even though your battery is starting your cart you will want to check it's condition with a load tester.
