Painted grass!

Now I have seen it all - this morning as I was going south on Morse just south of the Stillwater Round-about they were spray painting the brown grass a bluish green. Anybody know what this is? I know it can't be paint but it sure looks like it???

It's not paint....it's a biodegradable dye....and its harmless. This landscaping practice has been around a long, long time. I first saw this done on an Air Force Base in Texas in 1973. Also, Chem Lawn and other lawn fertilizer/treatment firms do this to dormant Bermuda grass in the Atlanta area.

Sounds like they may be hydro-seeding. Possibly overseeding with Rye for the Winter.
