Electrophyologist recommendations
 

I need to connect with a good electrophyologist and wondering if anyone has had experience with either Dr. Omar Shams from Heart of the Villages or Dr. Daniel Rieders of Heart Rhythem Associates? Open to any other suggestions.

My husband goes to Dr. Balachander Govindarajan at Citrus Cardiology by lake Sumter landing. His number is 352-751-3356. He speaks excellent English, is on top of the info in the field. My hubby, who has had ablations is very happy with him.

My husband was treated by Dr. Shams and he is wonderful. Performed a cardiac ablation on him last April and he was very caring during the whole process. So far the procedure seems to have worked.

Please take the advice of an RN-BSN. I go to Dr. Shams at Heart of the Villages; he is absolutely wonderful! He was recommended to me by another MD specialist who I have the greatest confidence in. Could not imagine going to anyone else.

Dr. Shams is EXCELLENT! He works closely with my husband's LVAD (left ventricle assist device - it's a battery operated heart pump). They are on each other's speed dial on their cell phones. Quite a good combination! My husband is VERY, VERY happy with Dr. Shams!
