O.J. SIMPSON, was he set up

Poor O.J. according to his friends, supporters, and partners in crime, he was "set up". Yeah, right!! It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Of course, O.J. and his defenders are saying he's being treated unfairly, that if he were anyone other than O.J. he would never have been arrested, or would face lesser charges. The fact is, if it were anyone other than O.J., he would have spend the last decade in prison for murder.

:agree: I just can't believe he bailed out! :don't know:
He deserves nothing less then to spend the rest if his life in jail!!!
What is going on?

As an avid Bills fan I wish they would take OJ's name off the Wall of Fame at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

I'm really surprised that anyone is surprised that he's out on bail. I believe he will do no time either as a result of his actions.

Is this just? Is this fair? Of course not. But celebrities seem to get away with murder, quite literally.

He has apparently not paid the victim's families a penny of the milions he was ordered to pay.

He's a low-life that should have been in jail since he killed his wife, but the way things are in this world, he has been and will continue to be treated special. Seems just a sad fact of life. >:(

For someone that got away with murder, armed robbery and kidnapping should not be a problem.

Doubt if he will get away with it this time. Even if he went there armed to recover his stolen property, it does not sound like a self-defense tactic would work in his trial defense. He went looking for trouble among fellow thugs. Think he did murder his ex-wife and Goldman but still do not believe that the prosecution proved that he did it beyond a reasonable doubt.

I agree with Taltarzac..He was not proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt..That was why he got off..

This time, if he has a good lawyer he might do minimal time if any at all..They are going to use entrapment and that Riccio did it for money..He is not too credible for the prosecution!!

He sold the tape for money as soon as he could..That is not a credible prosecution witness in my book... :dontknow:

Re: O.J. SIMPSON, was he set up

Who care's if he was set-up. They got the SOB. By the way, it's only entrapment if the police were involved....they weren't...so they got 'em. Al Capone was busted for tax evasion. O.J. may be the next Capone.....if there ever was a case to throw the book at someone.....this is clearly it.

I understand the "beyond a reasonable doubt" thing......but the evidence from the Nicole Simpson/Ron Goldman murders far outweighed any doubt in my mind.

My crystal ball shows him doing hard time.

John..I agree, if he is guilty he should do time..Time will tell..I hope the trial is televised..

I hope he does the max but I seriously doubt that happening . It seems that the justice system works different for "celebrities " than it does for "non celebs"

Re: O.J. SIMPSON, was he set up

I am sure the high prices lawyers will think up a good defense..Look at the amount of bail he was released on..I thought it would have been much more..I was wrong again!!

Re: O.J. SIMPSON, was he set up

O.J. Simpson says he only wanted what was rightfully his. Even judging by his own account of a raid at a Las Vegas hotel room. O.J. is rightfully owed some time in prison.

Among the charges against him are two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit burglary and burglary with a firearm. On Tuesday, prosecutors added five additional felonies, including kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping. :cop:

On Wednesday he was released on bail. ($125,000) :dontknow:

Hang in there folks Mr Simpson's day of reckoning is coming, hopefully, that means time in prison, lots of time.

JohnZ - Hope your crystal ball is correct! I think he enjoys every second of any publicity he gets, no matter what the reason. I'd be so happy to never hear his name again.
