Garage door stuck open limit

I have a flashing green light. Does any one know how to correct a stuck open limit problem? Door hums but won't go up or down.

Might try unplugging the motor and "reboot" it.

Reboot.
Unplug it for a bit, open and close the door by hand, then plug it back in.

How do I fix a stuck open limit problem?

First, check that nothing is blocking the photobeam. There should be two small boxes, one on each side of the garage door, near the bottom. Make sure they are lined up correctly. I hit one of these with a package once and my garage door wouldn't work until I got it lined up.

Here's a link to the manual if you have an Allstar MVP opener.

Page 16 shows how to adjust the open and close limits.
According to the troubleshooting, FAST green blinking light ...photobeam is blocked and a SLOW green blinking light is open limit problem.

If All Else Fails

If you still need help, I recommend Ryan O'Cull Garage Doors, Inc. 352-617-0522.

My door was binding up. I called Ryan and ten minutes later he was at work on my door. Less than an hour after that, the problem was resolved and at a very reasonable price.

Rare work ethic!

Raysic is correct. The green light should be solid, not flashing. The other on opposite end should be yellow solid. There are wing nuts to adjust the box until the lights stop flashing.
