I guess you objected to buying "Saigon-Tea's" for the Lovely Ladies over there, hence the moniker "Cheap Charlie" They sure had an unquenchable thirst!!! I spent 3 tours over there and sure bought my share of "Tea"

The American Legion Post on 466 east of The Villages will welcome you. It's not like 1970 where some posts were less than friendly toward us.
