Tradewinds Village
 

Saw a "Coming Soon, Tradewinds Village" sign in the farm area on 466A (just west of Buena Vista). I believe this land is not owned by the developer and had heard about a year ago it was going to become retail shopping and a big box store ...anyone know anything about Trandewinds Village?

Medical offices, assisted living, nursing home and retail areas have been approved. NO plans or permits yet, as no land has been sold.

Noticed the sign as well today - any updated information on this. I would think it could be extremely lucrative if it is not on Village property, but sooo close to The Villages.

There is an article about this development in The ******************* which you can see online. It is an interesting online newspaper about happenings in and around TV. The article answers most of the questions previous posters have asked.

JP, the admin blocked out your reference. I thought you might have meant The Villages dash News dot com, but I don't see an article there about Trailwinds Village.

I swear I saw an article in that paper about that new development but I guess not since I just looked again. Must be early Alzheimer's. Thanks for the correction.
