It happened again last night between 6 and 8 pm. Someone cut our Christmas lights in 3 places. What a Grinch!

Have now placed security camera. Hope it does the trick.

That is soooooo sad!

Maybe you should not reveal the camera's existence publicly.

Good idea about the camera, but I'm afraid it may be too late to catch your perp.

DANG!



It has to be someone in your area who feels left out...as if that is a good reason.

Leave your sprinklers on - maybe a good shock will fix em.

Don't jump to conclusions. DH was outside causing blue smoke when the wires seemed to be cut on our outside lights. Beware of rabbits! (or some of the rats around). Seems ol' long ears loved the wires. Caught them doing it to the neighbors lights also. Wires were raised off the ground and plenty of aluminum foil placed around sockets and plugs. So far, the lights have stayed on after repairs. (Thank goodness he learned how to repair electrical wiring so we didn't have to call someone.)

Now that makes more sense to me.

Cuts are too clean to have been a rabbit or other animal but stranger things have happened, huh?

It is the rabbits, They cut them just as clean as a knife. We have had this happen a few years ago. If you have Holly bushes they eat the leaves. And cut the wires doing this. Or other plants that they eat.

I have worked for a telecommunications company for 13 years, and have seen
rabbits cut through 1/4 inch phone wiring clean as a whistle - don't put anything past Bugs...
