I bought a Philips Lcd (Led) TV when I bought my home here in 2010 . I bought a 42 inch Philips TV. Yesterday I tried to turn on my set and I got what the reviewers call the Black Screen of Death. I looked up the problem on the internet and found out there was a class action suit filed against Philips because of faulty screens which according to the action they knew about and yet still marketed their sets. Buyer beware! Before you buy any flat screen check reviews. If anyone out there knows how to repair one of these sets please let me know.
