Does Santa Claus Vape?
 

Hey, I learned a new word today! I was browsing channels on television and actually stopped at Fox News when I saw the topic being discussed.

A billboard company was taking flack for allowing the posting of a Santa Claus vaping an e-cigarette. Some groups thought this tie-in of e-cigs and Santa would make it seem alright for kids to copy Santa and start smoking e-cigs.

It was kind of ridiculous discussion but I learned that someone does not "smoke" an e-cig (since there is no smoke). There is vapor exhaled and therefore, you are "vaping".

We know Santa drinks Coca-Cola, eats cookies, kisses Mommy, and now he vapes.

That's new to me a vaping Santa? They should leave Santa out of the e-cig world so he can preserve his squeaky clean image. I agree the kids seeing Santa vaping would think its okay. Good grief next thing we know they will have poor Santa with a e-cig and a beer.

I vape and have stopped smoking cigarettes. You are correct its called vaping and is not smoking. There is nicotine in the e-cigs, but there is no tar or 3,000 other chemicals they add to cigarettes. A huge plus for vaping is it does not smell disgusting like cigarettes.

Always seen pictures of Santa smoking a pipe. So, I guess he could vape.
