BIRD Watching for The Villages

...have ZERO affiliation with the following.....
......simply wanted to Share MY Favorite Central Florida Birding Site.

CLICK on site Below....

catandturtle photography by Jess Yarnell

........then on left ...UNDER the Big Picture of Bird....
......................where it says ..."Backyard Bird Identification""......

.............................Click on......" Start Identifying"""

When the new page loads you can choose (from line just Above the Bird Photos)
....By Color....In your Trees....by Lake /Marsh, etc.

Thanks for sharing this! I plan on doing some landscaping with flowers that attract birds. Up north I've tried for years to attract hummingbirds with red flowers of many various types with little luck. I've seen two in the back yard in fifteen years. I hope to have better luck attracting them in Florida. I have three sets of cone flowers and the gold finches and butterflies love them.

Great site. I am trying to learn more about identifying the local birds I see.
This helps. Thanks for sharing.

Echo11 and Tippyclubb..

...glad you both have found the site that Jessica has
put together to be useful. I sure refer to her site quite often.

I find it truly amazing that she has captured and shared such a wide
variety of photos and information.

Another PLUS......almost EVERY photo can be enlarged.....

Beautiful site, thank you. The picture of the Sandhill crane and her baby are priceless. Wonderful photos.

Thanks. Loved it. I saw something recently about a Birding Club in TV. Wanted to explore further, but somehow I lost the info. Can anyone help?

The Village Birders is a start for info on birders in the villages. I don,t know if they are still active. years ago their founder taught birding id classes at the lifetime learning college
