Moving songs from PC to iPad2

I know nothing about Apple products and I'm asking for a friend...

How do you get music from a PC into an iPad2? I can move individual songs but can't figure out how to move entire "albums" that were ripped from a CD. They're already in iTunes on the PC.

Thanks...

Connect the iPad to the PC via the USB cable and sync the iPad with the PC. Once the iPad is connected, open iTunes, if it doesn't open automatically. In iTunes you can click on the specific music you want to transfer or just tell it all music. When you open iTunes, you'll have to find the iPad in the left hand column and click on it first. Then, you will have lots of tabs for syncing specifics.

Hope this helps....

I find the latest itunes to be not so novice user friendly.....on mine the devices no longer show up in the left column and one has to search the different tabs in the upper left to find the devices.

For me itunes is always a last resort or option.

Thanks...we were at the "sync" screen a few times but aborted because when reading it...it seemed like it was going to overwrite everything on the iPad with what was on the PC... So synching will let me "match" them? I'll have the same on each machine? A blend of the two? Synching is "non-destructive"? If so, I'll synch it and it should be easy from there...

Thank you all for the help.
