I need the help of our members
 

This coming Thursday, I am speaking to a large Villages group about Talk of The Villages. The complication is that the recreation center where I am speaking has no internet service. So, I will have to demonstrate everything in an "off line" mode which is not the most desirable situation. I do not have sky card service for my laptop.

Here's the question. Is there a member who has sky (cell) or satellite service on a laptop that would be willing to let me use it for about two hours Thursday afternoon?

Since you did not mention what Rec Center you are speaking at, thought you might be interested in the following schedule from The Villages Computer Club. I mention this because, I believe they have internet access at each of their meetings at several Rec Centers----

Starting in September our meetings will be at:

La Hacienda Rec. Center on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Friday
Lake Miona on the 2nd and 4th Friday
Laurel Manor Vista Roundtable on the 1st Thursday
Laurel Manor Computers Plus on the 3rd Thursday

I have been a guest speaker at the Computer club meetings. They have cable access. My problem is that the recreation building that I am in Thursday has no such access. We are working on the problem now and hope to have a resolution by tomorrow. I had hoped that a member would have had a laptop with a cell phone broadband access. But no luck yet.
