Widening Of 466 From TV To 441/Lady Lake
 

Whatever happened to the plans to widen 466 from where it narrows to two lanes just east of The Villages all the way to 441/27 and a little beyond? I distinctly recall reading an article last spring saying that construction would start in the summer of 2007 with the hope the project to widen the roadway to 4-lanes would be completed by the time "the season" started.

The surface of 466 is getting a little pock-marked and rough in the area which was supposed to be improved, almost as if they're waiting for something.

Has anyone heard the status of the planned project?

Haven't heard any update on widening, but I suspect project has been put on hold pending the completion of work in the Lady Lake portion
