No, I don't think your objection is that it is foreigners, rather it is what kind of foreigners. And rather than just say they are great players we read here about how the pathological Asian culture that produces these robotically good golfers also increases the suicide risk at MIT. And how they have short tendons so how can white golfers possibly compete (false by the way). Must be hard to watch an NBA game and have to either root for the team with out of Africa stars or European stars. How some of us yearn for the good old days when people like that knew their place and stayed there. Several of the posts in this thread are outright racist. Full outright racist and any attempt to WHITE wash them fails unless you are unable to recognize racist when it screams in your face. |

Delusional
Men and women are not created equal for sports.......... if you think certain physical traits don't benefit some your living in a dream world. Shorter Achilles heal tendons do exist. BUT HERE IS THE REAL DEAL..............
The public is looking for heroes, goats, dominating players to feed their ego's of how things ought to be. One above the rest........ because of racism and exclusion this superman or batman existed and people yearned for it...........the problem is we have raised the bar of the mediocre and created parity, BORING... the days of parity are on us..........its just time to enjoy a great game and not a great hero I also don't believe TV ratings are accurate, like many other so called polls today. There are so many tv stations you can watch an event they don't measure them all. Like I said, just enjoy the game and whatever hero shows up on that day or series. Parity is the new boring........time will tell... Quote:

Our own Opens, male and female, are dominated by non-UK golfers, who take most of the prize money home with them. Best player wins. As for "mumbling a few words in English" the majority can speak either fluently, or passable English. How's your Korean, Cantonese or Norwegian? Now, if you want a real closed shop, how about the World Baseball Series. Oxymoron if there ever was one. |
