They do nothing to support golf in the USA. Do nothing to support the USGA in the US. They come and take the money, mumble a couple of words of English (in many cases) and go home with their millions, until they come back next year for a week. It's the US Women's Open, not the "World Women's Open".

It is nice to see your objection is based on economic concerns of those foreigners coming and getting away with our US dollars. I assume if I look back I will find your postings about how Rory shouldn't compete in the US open, or any of those white Europeans in our US open tennis. Certainly we should be pushing to stop American men from playing in the British open golf or Wimbledon or riding in the Tour d'France. Stealing their pounds and francs and running back across the Atlantic with their money. Maybe Lance Armstrong mumbled a few words in French too.

No, I don't think your objection is that it is foreigners, rather it is what kind of foreigners. And rather than just say they are great players we read here about how the pathological Asian culture that produces these robotically good golfers also increases the suicide risk at MIT. And how they have short tendons so how can white golfers possibly compete (false by the way).

Must be hard to watch an NBA game and have to either root for the team with out of Africa stars or European stars. How some of us yearn for the good old days when people like that knew their place and stayed there.

Several of the posts in this thread are outright racist. Full outright racist and any attempt to WHITE wash them fails unless you are unable to recognize racist when it screams in your face.

Yes, the point was pure unadulterated racism.

You could be right. It seemed to me to be more just another opportunity to take a swipe at females in general. There are some relics on here who do that sometimes.

Delusional

Men and women are not created equal for sports.......... if you think certain physical traits don't benefit some your living in a dream world. Shorter Achilles heal tendons do exist. BUT HERE IS THE REAL DEAL..............

The public is looking for heroes, goats, dominating players to feed their ego's of how things ought to be. One above the rest........
because of racism and exclusion this superman or batman existed and people yearned for it...........the problem is we have raised the bar of the mediocre and created parity, BORING...

the days of parity are on us..........its just time to enjoy a great game and not a great hero
I also don't believe TV ratings are accurate, like many other so called polls today. There are so many tv stations you can watch an event they don't measure them all.

Like I said, just enjoy the game and whatever hero shows up on that day or series. Parity is the new boring........time will tell...

Rubbish. Both mens and ladies golf tours are international, open to all who can qualify.
Our own Opens, male and female, are dominated by non-UK golfers, who take most of the prize money home with them. Best player wins.
As for "mumbling a few words in English" the majority can speak either fluently, or passable English.
How's your Korean, Cantonese or Norwegian?

Now, if you want a real closed shop, how about the World Baseball Series.
Oxymoron if there ever was one.

Do you seriously think another team from anywhere in the world (not an all-star team) could beat the MLB World Series winner?

Japan, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Canada, Australia?

I'm happy to see that you're better equipped than I, to recognize the root cause of my own objections. Stupid me. I thought I got to figure out my objections all on my own.

Next time I'm object to anything, I'll be sure to check with you, so I'll know the real reason I'm objecting.
