Can you imagine................at The Villages, tee'g off across a green.

Now that would be exciting.

I don’t think that happens. When they’re teeing off on the par 3, the group behind is hitting their shots into the previous hole.

Well it does happen.
Tee'g off 13, going over 12 green.

#1 on the Oaks and #1 on the Lakes at Hacienda Hills GC in the Villages uses same green.

I’m not sure what it is about this particular tournament, I am usually really into closely following the four majors, but for some reason this PGA Championship isn’t keeping my interest. Not sure if it’s the less than stellar coverage, the venue, the players on the leaderboard, or something else? Hopefully there will be an exciting finish tomorrow.

The course is relatively long, which is keeping the scores in check. But, other than that, the course doesn't seem to be very challenging. The greens are huge and not very well protected with sand traps. The rough is not very long, and the water hazards don't seem to present much of a risk to the players. I think golf courses for major tournaments should provide a more challenging test for the players and be more interesting for the spectators. Just my opinion.

No, my post was:
Would be interesting if one hole had a choice of greens.
Have two greens on one hole, different difficulties..........let the golfer choose.

Two greens on one hole and the golf decides which one to play based on the different challenges.

Drives me nuts when you are trying to watch the action and all these guys want to do is talk. I believe they signed Peyton and Eli Manning to do some golf telecasts which will be awful. Whenever they do NFL games, their mouths run constantly and tge camera is on them instead of the field of play. Worst telecaster ever.

To say they were terrible would be an understatement.

Don't disagree but listening to Jim Nance for three hours is also a major pain. And for a cherry on top, we also have to hear him narrate Titleist ads too.

Right! As I said, when the group is teeing off on 13, the group on 12 is hitting their shots into the green. There should be no one on the 12th green when players are playing from the 13th tee unless there’s a backup on 13.

St Andrews has 14 holes that play to double greens. The first and ninth at El Santiago is also a double green. But that’s very different than having two greens on one hole.

On holes that have two greens, the golfer never had the option of which to play. The committee sets up the course using on green or the other. All players in a tournament have to play the same course.

Yes, I didn't explain myself properly. You do go over the green when teeing off but there should be no one on that green at the time.

Disappointing tournament by the way. I always feel that the cream should rise to the top in a major.

The guy leading is ranked #100 in the world and of the guys that have a legitimate chance, the highest ranked player is Matt Fitzpatrick at 17. The others are all in the 30s.

I don't know why this seems to happen in the PGA Championship so much. So many one hit wonders over the years.

I don't know what the PGA can do to up the stature of this event but it always seems to be the weakest of the four majors. There seems to be more interest in The Players these days.
