Default UL International Crown Preview and Much More

This week the LPGA takes a break from its official tournament schedule, for the playing of the International Crown. This is a biennial event that will take place in even numbered years, as opposed to the Solheim Cup's odd numbered years. It is a global matchplay competition that will feature 8 countries battling for the rights to be called "The World's Best Golf Nation."

The first round matches of the UL International Crown have now been posted.

They start tonight (Wednesday) in the USA

The USA will be playing Sweden

Because of an upcoming typhoon in South Korea, they are going to try to play both day 2 and day 3 matches today.

After day one here are the standings:

Pool A:
Korea - 4 points
England - 3
Australia - 1
Taipei

Pool B:
Thailand - 3 points
USA - 2
Sweden - 2
Japan - 1
