To be a truly responsible dog owner, you should obey the rules concerning where you take your dogs. Please do not bring them inside the town squares, or in stores where they are not welcome, i.e. Home depot, lowe's, etc.
Many people are frightened of dogs, or are startled when they are unexpectedly approached by animals. It is your responsibility to keep your dogs away from crowded public areas.
Thank you.

keep your dogs barking under controle at all times.

Welcome Ted.

Here is a poll on how Villagers feel about dogs.

Of course limited to the few thousand on this forum.

This is not the dog poop thread. This is the dog THREAT thread. There is a difference.

I would just once like to see a thread titled "BE CONSIDERATE OF DOG OWNERS".

It's getting old, really old.

The thread almost died, the last post was 12-2011..................then a new post brought it back to life. Yuk!

I could have guessed when I saw Please be considerate of others...it was either driving the roundabouts, taking chairs in the square or something about dogs.

Thanks for your opinion. It is of course, that, an opinion. That we love and respect our dogs enough to include them in our lives does not mean that we expect you to alter yours. If you are afraid of these dynamic creatures we are certainly sad, but to ask people who have dedicated their life to owning them and have as much money as you to spend at the retail stores you might find yourself in, is more irrational than you may have considered. How do you feel about all the other people who shop at this store with you?

This thread is a year old and will be closed. Please feel free to start a new thread with any new thoughts or information.
