If the property is in Sumter County try this link: Sumter County Property Appraiser - Joey Hooten - Bushnell, Florida - 352-569-6800
Then click on the upper left for GIS Maps.

For Lake and Marion Counties, do a search.

Lake County: Welcome to The Property Appraiser's Office for Lake County, Florida
Sumter County: Sumter County Property Appraiser
Marion County: Marion County Florida, Property Appraiser

Note - Sometimes it is necessary to enter the address of a property rather than the name of an owner since property deeds can be recorded in a variety of ways that don't always include the name one is looking for!

But you still have to figure out if you are dealing with that person? Look up their residence and see if the check is being mailed to their residence. You can probably do this for any home they own as long as the local government puts their records on line.

The only issue with that is that if they own multiple homes and have their mail forwarded so the addresses could differ.
