Default 2nd Bonefish in the Villages?

We went there last night and it was fairly crowded and often seems so even in the non snow bird season and with all the new people moving in south of CR466A you wonder if one Bonefish is enough?

Does anyone know if they have some limitation on the distance between these franchises?

The Georges Bank Sea Scallop and Shrimp Skewer was excellent as usual. I have that often and the server was quite attentive.

They could easily put one on 466A in the Trailwinds development near Pinellas Plaza or even near Brownwood. With all the growth south of 466 it seems like a no-brainer.

THAT decision is made not by us, or The Villages but by the corporation that owns Bonefish and depends on whether they are expanding. I would have to think that The Morses would be very willing to build and accommodate an already thriving entity. They have done so with others;

Bob Evans, Cody's, and TooJays.

Yes, Bonefish is an excellent restaurant. Good happy hour and those Bang Bang Shrimp are delicious.

Yes new restaurants are needed. Bonefish or Outback would be great at Lake Deaton plaza but i notice banks going up in the outparcels facing cr44. How many more banks? I even wrote to Outback, Flanigans, Pollo Tropical. They all replied and said they would submit it to corporate. Morse and Villages need to get what is needed before more banks gobble up Lake Deaton Plaza. All we have is a Chinese takeout there. lol

I suggested to the corporate office of the Hauffbrau House that they should open in the now closed German restaurant in Brownwood. Answer was the Tampa location has a protected territory.

New business is Market driven, not by vote or need or want or request of the Morses.If the Corporate office of the restaurant you want is opening new places, than we may see those businesses here.

Wow, guess they're concerned the Tampa spot would lose all the TV visits they get each night.

The parent company that owns Outback, Bonefish, Carrabba’s and Flemings Steakhouse just closed several under performing locations not too long ago.
I don't see them jumping on the wagon to open a second one of any of these any time soon in the Villages.
