Dull, dull, dull. Sitting outside makes it a little less dull.

Horrible. Our server dropped his empty tray on the ground and as it rolled he ran after it and stomped on it with his feet to stop it...two mins later he served us our meal from it. He then passed through the restaurant and right passed our table while pushing a rolling mop and bucket of water. He pushed it into the restroom...we shuddered to think what had happened in there and wondered why our server was cleaning it up. His shirt was absolutely filthy and had animal hair sticking all over it. Two out of the four of us who ordered the same meal ended up with a bad case of food poisoning. It's a shame because it has a great view but we'd never go back.

We went there for the Easter Buffet. Disappointment to say the least. Expensive on top of that. Food choices were lacking. Carved boneless prime rib, so thin you had to roll it up to cut it. Other choices were oysters, a salmon dish, either baked or smoked, cheesy grits, rice, salad fixings and other odd stuff added. If you were looking for the usual Buffet type food, chicken, pasta, potatoes, ham, not there! They also had the Buffet diners share the Breakfast buffet set out for the hotel guests, which was in another room. There you can have scrambled eggs, make a waffle and dine on breakfast sausages. They had a dessert table, which consisted of pastries, I believe. I didn't linger as I was so disappointed if what was presented.
They are way out of their element. Plus the cost was $35pp, plus 20% tip and tax.

It's kind of like eating at a Holiday Inn restaurant. You should get something to eat, but you won't walk away thinking you had anything special. There are lots of decent restaurants in The Villages, but I wouldn't include this one in my list.
