OK. Great. Thanks for the information everyone.

It looks like there are some places if you just know where to look. I’m keeping a list of all these so that the next time that I am in TV I’ll know where to go to get something to eat later at night.

Appleby's is open until midnight during the week and then I think until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. It is one of the few places that stays open late....everything else around Lady Lake and Leesburg rolls up and shuts down by about 9pm....even on the weekends...lol

Of course if you've ever been to Appleby's about 11pm during the week you'd probably wonder why they were even open....2 or three tables at the most, so I think it's more of a corportate thing than the fact that they actually make any money staying open so late. I always get great service by eating there so late and the food has always been fresh. Now all you night owls will have a place to meet if you're hungry and you can't sleep!

At some point, the management of TV decided to follow the "early to bed, early to rise" theme. Most Recreation Centers schedule exercise activities starting at 7 AM. Incredible to me that people actually start exercising when I'm still asleep. And the majority of restaurants close early. In the morning, when I am rubbing sleep from my bleary eyes, I look out the window and see many golfers cheerily pulling their clubs along. That exhausts me so much I have to return to my bed.

The second night we were "in residence" in TV, we decided to go out to eat around 9:30 pm. We visited six restaurants in the Southern Trace area and were astonished to find them closed up tighter than a drum.

Yep, the Villages Lifestyle is definitely designed for early birds. One of my most exciting moments (yes, I do need more excitement in my life), happened when I went on TOTV at 3 AM and found there were 30 other peeps on also!
