It is directly across from Hudson, New York which is famous for the Fredrick Church (the Artist) Castle and grounds. Hudson itself is a big Antique town which draws a load of NY City tourists. Athens was a well established farming town and today still has a little charm as a small village. My Grandfather was the Sheriff for Green County at the turn of the century and had a farm in Athens. He was born in 1871 and lived for 102 years and passed away in 1972. I hope the Restaurant does well as they represent a real charming village. :mmmm:
