I think I answered the question with the king crabs at Sam's. You just need to buy enough to be able to eat as much as you can.

I think the other crab legs are too much work for too little meat

The same goes for any lobster under 2 lbs--and I'm talking real lobsters -not longusta

I knew a fisherman with a license to get stone crab claws and lobsters by diving in Provincetown. For lobsters, at least, this is illegal without a license—they must be trapped. To say they were freshly harvested was to beleaguer the obvious. They harvest the stone crab claws by twisting off one claw and freeing the crab. The claw regrows.

I agree with you. The buffets have snow crab legs and they are not very good.

Okay, here is the answer to your question. All you can eat crab legs every other Thursday at the Lighthouse Point Bar & Grill in Lake Sumter Landing. You just missed them last night.

They would have to charge at least $75 per person to possibly make a small profit if they served all you can eat King Crab.

tomwed 07-06-2018 05:57 PM

What do they charge? I found the prices for the rest of the menu but not the daily specials.

It would be worth the charge. Snow crab is not what I like.

i'll call tomorrow---the other specials on the other days of the week looked good too--

wendyquat 07-14-2018 02:50 PM

Sounds pitiful but I don’t have room in my freezer for all these crab legs. Not sure nough eating them to cook them all at once! They are delish!

Their Jumbalia, which is one of the weekly specials, is really good.

Another place is Crabs In A Bucket in Ocala. They have Blue Claw and Stone Crab in season.

How come no one has mentioned Dungenous Crab Legs? Way better than any of those mentioned. I go all the way to Orlando to get them at Joe's Crab Shack.
