Default Best Cookies?

I am procuring food for a neighborhood party, and looking for opinions on where to go for desert. I was planning to pick up a batch of cookies at one of the local grocery stores. What is the consensus for best ones?
Winn-Dixie, Publix, Sweetbay, Fresh Market?

I vote for the thin crispy chocolate chips at Fresh Market.

I think Publix has the best bakery and cookies. Publix is the reason there are no small bakeries in TV. Can't compete. They are baking fresh all day long.

Default home made cookies

How about a batch of home made cookies? Chocolate chip cookies or brownies always seem to make people smile. Brownies are easy too! Happy eating!

Yuuuum!....I'm the original "Cookie Monster .....Another option is my recipe for Goodie Bars:

Grease bottom of 13 x 9 in pan

1 Box Yellow Cake mix
1 stick butter (softened)
1 egg

combine above and pat in bottom of greased pan

1 cup chopped nuts, I use walnuts but pecans are great also)

sprinkle nuts on cake mixture above

Mix:
8 oz. cream cheese
3 eggs
1 box confectioner sugar

Pour over nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 min. Cool and cut and enjoy
