So that pretty much leaves Toojays, the hot dog truck on 466, and the Home Depot hot dog stand for anyone with a craving for a quick hot dog. Unless of course someone knows of a hidden hot dog option that they’d like to share?

The Firehouse in Leesburg does Chicago dogs and beef topped dogs like Portillo in Chicago and best of all is a micro brewery. Also has pizza.

I'm not even sure which I'm looking forward to more, at this point: real lobster or real hotdogs. I think the only thing that could top this would be if she brought me a medium white clam pizza from the Modern.

i miss the hummel brand, and grote & weigel. all i can find down here are all beef, why is that?

I don't partake, but herd people say Costco's dogs are to die for

Hotdogs

Sonic had a good hotdog. I usually get Long Island chili one.

Chicago dogs, Italian beef, and thin crust pizza. Excellent combo meal.

Hot dog guy on 466.....dirty water dogs. Delicious, and the owner is so nice!!!

You gotta go to Chicago Fire on Magnolia (one block of the square). Better than Nathans. The serve Vienna Beef natural casing hot dogs. Chicago style.

Beats Nathans.

Mustard and onions ONLY Yum!

City Fire has a great dog on their bar menu!

MandoMan 06-29-2020 07:12 AM

Sam’s Club. Big fat ones, boiled, in steamed buns. Yum!

Lopez Pool Bar

How about the Nathan’s jumbo dogs and waffle fries at Sam’s Club? The only downside is you don’t get a huge choice of toppings. But they’re pretty ‘doggone’ good with the mustard, relish and chopped onions provided. Bring your own celery salt to make them taste like a Chicago hot dog.

You can’t beat the price. Last time a hot dog and soft drink was less than $3 as I recall.

Paul’s hot dog stand in Brownwood on Saturday’s at the farmers market and I get the big dog with sauerkraut
