Too get the best ribs in town, my wife and I have to go out twice. She likes dry rub in all BBQ'd meat. I prefer no rub, still juicy with lots of sauce.

I have to warn everyone off of Weston's -- ate dinner last week and the food was almost entirely fat -- not edible

I picked up two packs of baby back ribs at Publix in Mulberry yesterday. Very meaty!!!

I kinda know what you mean, but have to say that just because a restaurant is a chain, does not mean it isn't good. I'll cite Cheesecake Factory, Ruth's Chris, Morton's Steak House, The Elephant Bar, R. J. Gator's and even Chick-Fil-A as examples of pretty good to excellent restaurants. The only thing wrong with a chain is in the mind of the beholder. As I said . . . Just because it's a chain doesn't mean it isn't good. |
I agree with zcaveman, the best ribs are prepared at home. To casita 37, I buy John Boy and Billy's BBQ sauce in Publix (used to have to order it on line) and it is a vinegar based NC BBQ sauce. If you cook ribs at home, give it a try...don't think you will be disappointed!
