Gracie... I don't think they offer that right now. I believe it was a summer promotion... maybe it will return this summer. Glad you enjoyed the mushroom brie!!!

I love Thai soups! Siam Orchid has an excellent variety and they let you choose a variety of soups with a lunch entree. Am VERY impressed. www.siamorchidthevillages.com Another thing...is you get service immediately. No long lines like at Toojay's if you want it NOW!

Siam is closed. Hear it may turn into Seafood Galley. Time will tell.

Fire up the Slow Cooker (Crock Pot) and make your own soup.
Comes out the BEST and you know what is in it. No MSG or tons of salt needed.:beer3:

That’s unfortunate, but I really think they picked the wrong location. They were in a large stand-alone building with direct highway (441) access. The rent alone must have been crippling. This type of location can only survive if it’s a big chain operation or “Fern Bar”.

I know Seafood Galley is well rated for its seafood quality, but if they go in there, they’ll be competing with Sam St. John’s right around the corner, and that doesn’t make sense either.

Beef Cabbage soup on Wednesdays at Toojay's, mushroom brie at Lopez, and the best Hot Sour soup ever at Cheungs chinese restaurant.

You are absolutely right Ed, I find it actually STUPID for the two fish places to be so close together. I just miss Thai food at that end of town. But who knows, maybe Thai Orchid will relocate somewhere else. We'll have to keep an eye out for it.
