The Modern, New Haven, CT (nod to previously mentioned Pepe's but nobody does a white clam better than the Modern). Can you even get a white clam pizza in TV? Or anywhere in Florida? I lived in "unincorporated Broward" for a summer years ago and they all looked at me like I had three heads when I asked for that at the local pizza joint there.

I might have to just get the recipe from our local guy before we move south, and make my own pizza if it's true that there's no good pizza in TV.

Earlier when I said that 15 cents a slice was the price for years. Years may have meant 4th grade to 8th grade which seemed like an eternity then and just a blip now. ho hum

I don't eat pizza, too many carbs, but my wife loves pizza. Thanks for the above advise, both are golf cart accessible, which is a must for us. Does Anyone know if NYPD pizza serves other food options that are not carb loaded?

I just took a look at the menu on their website. Other than salads, the entire menu is a huge carbo-load. Even if you get the chicken parm without the pasta on the side, it's still breaded. However, if you are allowed to substitute a salad for the pasta, it'd be a "lower" carb meal. Not low-carb, but lower. Maybe a once in awhile treat, unless you have some medical reason not to consume starches.

Gio Deli on 301 just north of 466 is the best outside of Regina's in the North End in Boston or Riccardi's in New Bedford!

My wife and I have never been disappointed with Flippers new location on 44 near Brownwood. They make a good pizza. I lived in Philadelphia and its's environs for the first half of my life, eg., a good pizzeria or two in every neighborhood or suburban town. This is buy a quart of beer and pick up a pizza territory. Flippers is just fine.

Chi-Town, that looks like an Aurellio’s pizza. Our absolute favorite. Originated south Chicago in Homewood, Illinois. It is now franchised and the closest is Naples. Went back “home” last month and couldn’t wait to get my Aurellio’s pizza. The secret is the sweeter sauce. Nothing like it here, and believe me, we’ve tried them all. The square pieces are called “tavern cut.” - pretty typical in Chicago. Personally, I prefer it to the wedge. Oooh, I miss my pizza.....

Default Pizza

While attending college in Northern NJ I loved the pizza on Times Square NYC. None better. Wonder what it is like today? While not like what I would call old fashion Pizza I give my vote to Mallory CC.

Mallory CC pizza is good, but I prefer the pizza at Cane Garden. Very thin and always consistent. Some pizza places are not consistent in the way the pizza is prepared. I hate when you get a pizza that has almost no sauce, but it seems to happen a lot.
