Wait until summer, prices will go back down

I don't think the prices will go down. The prices are the same as when they opened in the beginning of September. The restaurant is always busy and I think the prices match the quality.

I really don't know how to describe the taste other than delicious. I really want to tell you but can't.

The cheapest way to find out if you like it is to go to Sam's St. John's Seafood 614 17860, SE 109th Ave, Summerfield, FL 34491
Hours:
Closes soon: 9 PM ⋅ Opens 11 AM Thu
Menu: lovethatseafood.com
Order: doordash.com
Phone: (352) 307-7387 across from Walmart
My favorite place but the wife doesn't like it too much. $20-$25 for three Lobster tails and a whole lot of other goodies. You'll leave full to the brim.

The other place was Palmer C.C. not too shabby! I think Surf & Turf was about $30
Nick, I read the menu and it looks super! But, regrettably, three tails is now $27.99. However, I haven’t had any for about eighteen months, so I may splurge.

As far as taste, it is succulent, juicy and not at all “fishy.” The texture, to me, is somewhere between shrimp and langostino—firm yet tender.

I make a very good lobster baked and stuffed with scallops, shrimp, leeks and a bit of panko.

We'll see. They lower the prices back down at all the CC's he owns in the summer. This place hasn't gone through a summer yet. Every new restaurant in TV is packed for awhile after they first open.

Pricey is a relative term. Where do I find fish for less than $16??? At my favorite little bar a Friday Fish Fry costs about $15 with french fries and coleslaw. A good old fashioned runs about $5. So define pricey...

Where in this area? I don't know. But up north I can get a fried sole sandwich made with two fresh (not previously frozen) breaded fillets, onion rings, and a side of slaw for $9. 7.50 on Friday.

The fish from the northern shore area is amazing, I agree. Grew up in a fishing community. Then I moved to CA....had to give different seafood a try. Discovered I like much of it....same for FL. The prices are what they are. People can only surmise why they are more expensive than they feel it should be. Haven’t been to Bluefin yet, but it’s on my list of new restsurants to try.

Can't wait to try it. So tired of "Seafood" restaurants that sell predominantly breaded, fried fish! Most of them remind me of Mrs. Paul's (a frozen fish purveyor).

went there sunday night 7pm, sat outside in front closest to Dunkin Donuts.

Got beers at the outside bar while waiting for table. $2.95 each, when we sat and ordered another round, the price dropped to $2.75...humm....

Ordered the red fish and chips-I prefer them tampura style, they were more or less breaded. Not the best, but lots of fish. Waitress forgot the ketchup and I was mostly finished with my fries when she came back around.

Friends ordered clam cakes, they were pretty good, or so he said. Other friend ordered fish tacos, again no complaints.

Waitress wasn't on top of it with the refills and additional beer orders. We kept having to ask the other tables waitress to get ours to stop bye. There were many empty tables so I don't think she was overly busy....

So although it was a little better than the german food and the tapas, the jury is still out.

Just back from 1:30pm lunch at BF with out-of-town guests. 1st time there for us all, and outside patio seating. Had Fish&Chips, Sesame Ahi, Calamari Salad, and Tuna melt. Everything was A#1. Food was very good and presented well. Service was very friendly, prompt, and hot food delivered in about 10 minutes. Could not ask for better.

Will definitely go back. Easy to see why business is good and comments here = the same.
