Drinking water is a great idea. Tipping properly is another great idea. The best idea of all is letting your wife drive home after you have had a couple. I want out on this thread because my original thought got turned around. I have nothing against anyone's decision on what to drink when out to eat it is non of my business. It just never occurred to me that anyone would conspire to cut their bill in this way.

I mentioned that when I caddied as a youngster we looked to see if the bag we were carrying had a ball retriever. We knew if we were going to get a nice tip or be stiffed. I was told that some people in TV'S have their ball retriever regripped. They will risk getting bit or attacked to save a golf ball. :1rotfl:
