Default Bourbon on SS Square

We went to the Bourbon St restaurant with several friends the other night. Not a good experience at all. Food was so so and expensive. It was karioke night--not real fan of it but usually not a big problem. Someone was terrible and another person told him so. The singer went flying at him with his fists raised. He was pulled away but continued to rant and rave. Not sure what happened to them but after awhile they both disappeared. I think that will be our last time there. Used to be a nice place when run by others. I think it looks and feels like a dive now.

Karioke and drunks probably does not mix all that well. Can you imagine what kind of re-actions people would have to Simon Cowell's comments during those first few weeks of each American Idol season if booze were in various people's Coca-Cola cups???

The way some businesses are these days, the restaurant may just start charging a cover charge to watch the fights! :
