New GM

Al: Good to hear that you have new blood (and attitude) on your staff. We heard that the change was more "political" in nature.

We'll be in to meet "Hank" and have some Red Beans and Rice.

.

It is located in Spanish Springs next to Starbucks on the square.

thanks zcaveman!

I have walked past that corner many times and never paid attention to what was there or on the the other side of the street - I was always looking to see how long the lines were at the happy hours bars in the square.

BStreet,

Thanks again for coming on to this forum and explaining what is happening with your business. I wish you the best of luck in turning things around and establishing/earning/keeping a positive reputation in this community. The number of empty storefronts and restaurants is distressing, so, I am glad to hear you are making drastic changes and plan to stay in business. I will be patronizing your business within the next couple of weeks.

Went there last nite to see the new menu and was very pleasantly surprised. the server (Christine) is a great asset to the business. the food was great and Hank and I had a great conversation about the restuarant and the plans for the future. Good Luck and like Arnold "I be back"

Let's address the fact that a large group of democrats have been patronizing Bourbon St. B Street is open to ANY large group willing to support us. Our doors swing open EQUALY for ALL. Should we have said NO to entertaining 250people? That's not how I was raised, and God Bless THEM for wanting to HELP!!!!! Last time I checked, in this country we are all on the same side, THE UNITEDSTATES OF AMERICA!!!!

Bourbon Street THUMBS UP!!!!

Friendly people, staff and patrons + great food and service AGAIN!! The entertainment is a nice blend of jazz and blues with a little motown groove mixed in! We appreciate the change in the menu, now offering great selections at great prices!! The music venue was a nice surprise and we will definately be coming in often! I am wishing you prosperity and all good things. Good places are hard to find and keep. Bourban Street is a KEEPER!!!! KUDOS!!! BSTREET, we are the UNITED States and I am also asking fellow Villagers to unite and put the politics aside and support this fine restaurant!!!!!! Great food, attentive pleasant staff and great music are definately a mix for success! Come on TOTVers!!!!! We need to SUPPORT ALL our restaurants!

Bravo to Bourbon Street

We had dinner at Bourbon Street last night. The Bayou Shrimp Pasta was delicious! We also had the pleasure of listening to Wayne Youngblood's soulful singing/keyboards. And an added pleasure was hearing one of the original Drifters sing Under the Boardwalk plus several other songs. What a treat!!! Kudos to the owners for providing something different and most enjoyable! :coolsmiley:

Very refreshing to see a restaurant owner responding to talk of the villages commentary. I always warn owners of restauants that I like to keep their eye on this website and respond appropriately to any comments, good, bad, or ugly. I am happy that Bourbon Street is reborn and I will be supporting them. My own policy is never to post about a restaurant here or in the Gourmet Club without having eaten there at least three times.
