Default Brooklyn Water Bagels Lady Lake

I love Brooklyn Cinnamon/Raisin Bagels. My husband was in the area yesterday and stopped for coffee and a bagel, and he purchased a bagel to bring home for me. My bagel was at least two days old, I could hardly cut it through. I asked him about it and he said the shop was almost empty, at 11:30 there were only three other people in there, and his bagel was stale. Has anyone else noticed a difference? Please tell me this is not another change of ownership. Maybe just having a difficult time at the moment.

No, I have not noticed a difference. And I go there several times a week. I arrive early (between 7-8am) and the bagels are HOT and fresh. I would imagine there's not a big demand for bagels close to noon.

Oh good. Must have just been a bad day for them. By the way, they do bagel sandwiches all day long.

I use to go there for my Rye Bagels. They stopped making them, so I no longer patronize them.

Went there at @ 10am on Thursday for bagels and gift certificate and the place was full. Plain bagels were fresh.

Picked up some onion bagels the other day and was sorely disappointed. Bagels had no onion in them only burnt little minced onion pieces on the outside. They were also 50% bigger than they should have been with a huge center hole instead of a nice compact bagel with a small, almost closed center. not the NY water bagel I'm used to. Also, I was in there about 11:45 AM and the place was empty. Won't be back.
