Default Dollar for Value... best Restaurant?

Everyone likes a good meal out. In retirement though, the better places can be cost prohibitive. For casual dining out, can anyone recommend places with good food for the money?

We all had places back home, but here, where can folks find good food at bargain prices?

Bob Evans, but booze isn't necessary for us to enjoy a casual meal. But even Bob Evans under new ownership have cut their menu. They still have good things and great servers.

I cook at home more and more. I am so sad that Cane Garden is under new management.

Many places before 4pm have great lunch prices and the same food ( maybe a little less) that they serve in the evening. Added bonus no waiting for a table. That's what we do and then just have something lite at home later...11 years now...works for us...

Default Best Value Restaurant

Without a doubt it would be Wolfys. They have two locations, one in Ocala and one in Leesburg. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very reasonably priced, daily specials, and lots of homemade style food.

Sam's St Johns Seafood across the street from the Walmart in Summerfield on 441. Good value and great Seafood like where we had our last home. Very reasonable and accommodating. Going earlier is better. It is good for when you wanna go to Bluefin but don't feel like making the ride. It's up towards the Hysterical Section. Two Thumbs Up!

As you can see everyone has a different value system and judgement of good food.......go visit everyone's recommendations and start creating your own "go to" list.
