Stumpknockers hands down.

Catfish Johnny's is OK, but not a quality dinner or lunch.

North of Inverness on route 200. Also one downtown Inverness. We like the one on 200 better for the setting.

Stumpknockers, on the river (200) is at the top of our list to take visiting firemen and others who wander dowen from the north for Florida meal. Frog legs are magnificant....

Take Capt. Mike's river tour before dinner at the one on 200. It is great fun.

Stumpknockers is a great place to eat. Look out Friday/Saturday nights esp during winter. Very busy place. Across the street is Red's a great place for breakfast.

Kb8tpw--I love frog legs provided they are relatively small and juicy. Are they lightly fried and about how many on a plate?

They are lightly fried, but I can't recall just how many. I know between my wife, I and my brother we still had to get two orders to take home for late evening snack. They warm up just fine. I had grouper anothge34r time which was great also. No charge for the atmosphere and there is plenty. Went to the one in Inverness once and it was very good also, but they are closed on Monday I believe.
