In Ocala you need to try Charlie Horse for wings. On Thursdays after 5 they sell 20 wings for 15 dollars and they have free trivia at 630 that same night.. If you want large frozen wings delivered to you house go to wildfork dot com. They have them right now for under 13 dollars for a 5 pound bag.

Cody's in Lake Sumter has very good wings. Publix are really good too, but they are very salty.

Every time I've gotten them they were always big and juicy compared to the other restaurants in the villages which were scrawny and dry.

When you order wings, are you supposed to get just wings, or wings and legs? I ordered wings at Belle Glade recently and I got half wings and half legs. I felt cheated.

??? A chicken wing has three parts: the tip that you rarely see, the "finger" (my wife's preference) that has two bones, and the "drummy" (my preference) that looks like a mini leg. I expect to get an equal number of fingers and drummies since that's the way they come off the chicken.

Did you get legs/drumsticks, which would be odd, or the drummies? I've been to places where the drummies were as large as small legs/drumsticks - I kinda wanted to see the chicken that grew those.

I don't know what a mini leg or drummy is. I assumed that what I got was the chicken's leg because they were pretty big and not as tasty as the "wings". What I wanted was all wings as advertised. When I buy a roasted chicken at Publix, I cut off the drumsticks and eat them. I also eat the breast. The wings are so small that I just throw them away.

Ask for "flats". Those are the wings with two bones in them...

The Sunny Pint, right beside the Brownwood Hotel. They do BBQ'd ones during Sunday football.

I started to respond to this with an explanation, but then decided if you think you got half wings and half legs and have lived to be retired, then you must know, or are baiting us for entertainment.
