Culinary information many can not relate to. Good call on info not readily in knowledge bank

I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered at Lopez since they have reopened.

No matter what Lopez is not a steak house. It has too much country club atmosphere. But it is still very good.

Ok, Villagers. Some of you pined for "upscale dining"; now you have it. Enjoy...…...

Read that the Chop House, gets their meat from Halperns, out of Grand Isle ,Ne--went to Halperns website ,they have an interesting video, while watching the video--noticed a label on their warehouse shelving--they provide meat for Shula's--looks like a good indicator

Just hope they don't use a jigger to pour their drinks

Maybe not, but that steak has a really cool handle.

Checked out the outside bar. Very nice, good drinks, and an excellent shrimp cocktail. But what really stood out was no smoking. I spoke to a manager who said smoking was not allowed, because in no way do they want to inconvenience their customers. Left at 7:30 and the place was packed inside and out. It was also nice that people dressed accordingly for an upscale restaurant.

Got there at 5 pm last Saturday hoping to celebrate our anniversary. Overflow crowd waiting outside. They estimated an hour forty five minute wait.. No room at the small bar. They dont take reservations for 2 or 4 .. Went elsewhere.
