I'm assuming my 2 4 1 Fajitas will have a little more crunch and protein tonight.

An unnamed website has additional information of previous violations at Cody's Brownwood. They have lost me as a customer.

Bugs On Guacamole Optional

Due to the anticipated reduction and hence lack of bugs there will be instituted an up charge for any dish with bugs!

No restaurant should allow peanut shells to be tossed on the floor. Not only is it a sanitary problem, but it is also a slipping hazard.

I've been sitting at the patio side of the bar and have seen multiple rats scurrying around to eat the left over peanuts.

Cody’s need to clean up there act!

DonH57 02-20-2019 09:48 PM

Sitting at the bar at LSL I once observed two geckos with those little plastic swords engaged in sword play worthy of a pirates of the carribean movie. Glad there was no cover charge so hush, hush.

It if didn’t meet your standards, you walk out. At least you knew how clean the restaurant was before you ate there. The ones we ate at had high marks. That’s the way it should be all over. Post the inspection grade for all to see so that we can make our decision if we want to eat there or not.

Not only do they post the letter grade, they post the actual score so if you see some restaurant getting an A with a score of 91, you know they just barely squeezed by.

I guess they know how to poach a roach!

leftyf 02-21-2019 10:01 AM

I wonder how many customers they had yesterday?

Probably full up as usual. Most of the people in TV would not have even known they had a problem, and I am pretty sure "The Good News Only" would not have published the story!

Has anyone been back since they opened. Read that the employees worked hard to clean but hopefully they had an exterminator in as well and should probably do it weekly.

The unmentionable news just reported Rosheem Alachino Caquias, a cook at the Brownwood Cody's, was arrested for pot possession and not the kind of pot in which one prepares soup. I wonder if he used a roach clip...lol. Management needs to get on top of what is happening there.
