She really does not care for seafood but hubby and I love a good Chilean Sea Bass, or Rainbow Trout and fresh shellfish, to name a few dishes. Not crazy about all the fried fish that many of these restaurants offer. But I will check out Bluefin's menu.

LOL - I wonder if you have ever experienced the joy of a critical older sister? HaHa -- that's why we have the imagery of the water glass -- so one of us can see it half full and the other can see it half empty. I accuse her of being overly critical and she accuses me of being a cock-eyed optimist. Yet despite this, we do get along, for the most part (and even better in small doses).

We are family . . .

Honestly if you want to really impress your sister--take her to Sky Fusion, in Ocala--check out their menu, check out the decor--top floor of a hotel--GREAT

Thanks again.

Glad to hear you made a good choice in going to Arnold Palmer. You seem to be easy going.

In terms of ambience, I think that Glenview and Legacy are the two best country club restaurants. They both have the feel of a traditional country club IMO. Having said that, I understand Legacy is closed and Glenview has had sub par food the last few times we have dined there. Palmer probably is the best ambience and dining combination left. I love Cane but the décor there is really tired. Evans Prairie is another decent choice IMO.

Been there; Done that -- probably a few too many times in my younger days.

So, of the three, it sounds like Evans Prairie is the best place to go?

Oh I misunderstood your earlier text when you said they were closed. I didn't realize they were out-of-business. Thanks for the heads up.
