Same owner and family for years. Why go to Leesburg when you can get soft serve ice-cream right here?

Dairy Queen legally can't call its product ice cream. They call it "soft serve" - well, that could be Crisco. The FDA says to be considered an "ice cream" the product must contain "not less than 10 percent milkfat, nor less than 10 percent nonfat milk solids."
I could care less, it tastes good to me. Maybe ice cream not ice and cream?

We went to Leesburg fr DQ last week, the line was out to 27....by the time we weaved around the parking lot and got to the window (20 minutes), as we left the line was still out to 27. Seems DQ has a following

DQ tastes good to me too. I know it isn't ice cream and I would imagine it contains less fat and calories than a really good quality ice cream.

My favorite treat from DQ is their Peanut Buster Parfait with vanilla soft serve, Spanish peanuts and the most delicious decadent hot chocolate fudge layered in the parfait.

For me the best soft serve Ice Cream is " Carvel " it is far superior than " DQ " especially the chocolate.

The DQ chocolate is like milk chocolate ugh.

Sadly the Carvel in the Target Plaza closed due to the arrest of the owner.
