Gio's has pretty good pizza, they are on 301 just north of 466 next to the new Wawa being built.

John, it certainly looks like a good pizza, though I am not overly fond of anchovies. But what strikes me is this: you have a picture of a pizza from 1973?? That you can find??? I'm impressed.

The picture looks phony. The anchovies should be baked into the cheese, and it doesn't even look like the anchovies were cooked with the pizza. Fake news.

Gio's is owned by Giovannis, so you can get the same pizza at the main restaurant in Southern Trace Shopping Center on 466. They're next to the China Buffet near Publix. They have excellent Pizza there and spaghetti, subs, whatever you need. The spaghetti lunch is unreal, for $6.75 you get the pasta with meat sauce, a nice salad and bread. We ate today at Olive Garden and the pasta was not as good, although OG has great Lasagne, which I should of gotten.

You have to try Mezza Luna in Colony Plaza. I hate to tell everyone about it but I can't be selfish. It's the best and nicely priced. That said, they also have a great menu to choose from. The staff is the very best around, service is great. Enjoy!

You've got to be kidding about Mezza Luna--poor excuse for Italian food--its a miracle they're still in business

Actually, my husband and I went the other day. The pasta with clams was delicious. Service was excellent.

Pizza Regina, anyone?

Another good one. I often wonder why Papa Gino's or Pizza Regina doesn't open up in Florida.

Actually, after I wrote that I realized it's Pizzeria Regina. And as for Papa Gino's... don't you miss it? I googled to find one here, but as you already know, alas, none. Pity. I miss it... which do you like here?

The last time I was @ Mezza Luna, my wife's sister and brother in law dropped by-, we took them to Mezza Luna for lunch before they had to catch the auto-train- everybody in the party is Italian (from NJ) but me-the food was inedible, didn't have enough time to return anything and the topper was the red wine was chilled--too embarrassed for words, totally horrible

I used to have our hometown pizzeria bake and freeze pizzas which I packed in my checked bag for my son in California. Surprisingly they stayed frozen. But now California has excellent pizza, so I don't have to be the pizza courier

Papa Gino's Rustic was the best! And of course the original Reginas in the North End was superb! Recently arrived Bostonian realizing that the pizza situation looks dire :(

BTW - An Italian New Yorker Villager told me that RICCIARDI’S ITALIAN TABLE used to be good in general but isn't that good anymore, however their pizza is still good. Any opinions?

For the first time, yesterday I had a takeout Supreme (sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, pepper) pizza from Mallory Hill country club. I thought it was pretty good. Nice chewy crust, flavorful ingredients, and freshly made. Undoubtably, it would be better in the restaurant rather then being taken out, but it was still quite good and worth a try.

I never thought their pizza was good. The place we like best is Bravo's. Add salt and oregano and it tastes like NE pizza. It is the only place we get pizza.

I make my own using store bought Naan bread. It is super crispy crust and so delicious. I can make one in about 15 minutes total. Better than I can buy.
