Default Decent Pizza

Is there anyplace to get decent pizza in The Villages?

We had Papa John's last night and it wasn't very good. Way too much dough and very chewy. Hardly any sauce or cheese. It was like eating pizza dough and vegetables.

Flippers is not much better.

We've had Little Joey's but that a way's away.

Is there anything decent that is golf cart accessible?

Bravo is pretty good. If you are from the NE Cane and Mallory are awful. Leaving TV Blue Highway in Ocala is very good and so as Belleview.

We go to Little Joeys quite a bit but not in The Villages. We also LOVE Flippers pizza. Had NYPD pizza and it is very good as well. Born and raised in New York and these 3 places are the closest to real New York pizza around here!

We use to stop in Little Joeys a couple of times a year when my wife had her dentist appointment at Bayley Plaza, that is until last February. They failed their health inspection and had to close for a day or two. The Villages online newspaper had all the details and it is too gross to print here. Think of the worse, and it's worse than that. If you need to find out more, go to The Village News website and search, you cannot put a link on this website to that website, otherwise I would. I just did a google search and the Village News story came right up. BTW, I hadn't eaten at Flippers until they opened the new one at Brownwood and we really like it. We've had lunch there at least 5 times in the past month.

Giovani's is near the top of the list if not at the top. NYPD is also a good choice.

I have ordered from Bravo several times and I think the pizza is pretty good. They also have deep-dish and Sicilian, and even Gluten free. BTW, they serve many other Italian dishes. One caveat: if you order delivery don't hold your breath. Last time, I was told one hour; fine. 90 minutes later, it arrived.
