The menu says you get a pot of coffee, but I don't think you can share it with someone. I don't know of any restaurant in The Villages that charges that much for coffee.
I’m not familiar with First watch but wife and I stopped at Ruby Tuesday in Spanish Springs and had their 2 for $25 special. Of course that does not include beverages. I had a draft beer and wife hand 5 oz white wine. Beer was $5 which is expected but $9 for small white wine was most we have ever paid. I’m familiar with brand and they would have made a handsome profit at $5. But what ever the market can bear is the rule here in Villages, and it apparently can bear a great deal.

Why don’t you just ask?

Most other breakfast restaurants, like Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans don't hide their prices.
That's odd. For what ever reason we were not charged twice. We are there so infrequently.

Ruby Tuesday may have great coupons, but their bar is, IMHO, quite expensive.

I remember seeing a sign outside of a Ruby Tuesday once that said "20 entrees for under 10 dollars". Sounded like a good deal for less than 50 cents a meal, but for some reason, they wouldn't honor their sign.

Compared to other First Watches I have eaten at, the one up N off of 27 is in serious need of a rehab and the food was just so so. Should upgrade both.

Could it be that all their beverages are listed elsewhere on the menu and all are $2.79? That seems close to the prevailing rate for Coke, Pepsi, iced tea, etc. perhaps the pot of coffee is listed there.

We eat there periodically, and I can't say one way or the other regarding pricing for beverages on the menu. Having said that, if I didn't see the price listed, I would ask before I ordered. Oh yeah, more importantly, First Watch is our number one place for breakfast. It can be pricey relative to other places, hence our going there periodically, but we would really recommend it. And if you like a little "kick" to your breakfast, and bacon is ok for you to eat, try the "Millionaires bacon". Expensive, yes, but oh my it is really good!

I wish they would put the price for coffee on the menu but take the calorie count of the dishes off!!!!!!!!!

I heard a story about a Villager that went up to Big Al's Barbershop with 6 $1.00 coupons and wanted the $6.00 haircut. True story.
