I love Publix fried chicken. Not as greasy to me and plenty crunchy and flavorful.

Sorry you missed the point of my hypothetical kitchen tour comments.

Went there right after remodel with a coupon from the Clipper magazine from the Daily Sun. Cashier didn't know what to do with it. Called shift mgr. Very nasty and rude. Says, "We don't take those anymore!" Spoke to mgr. She said same thing. I stood my ground and finally after 10 mins of arguing, I got my chicken.

I was with my 11 yr old niece and I wanted to show her that when you are right, you must stand up for yourself. If it had be only me, I probably would have used a swear word or two and stomped out.

I have never been back. :loco:

KFC is on my list. But a couple of weeks ago I took advantage of a Publix special and really enjoyed their box of fried chicken. The coating was a little salty tasting but it was really good and they had large pieces.

Try the rotisserie chicken, caveman, the next time you get the Publix family meal deal. It isn't as good as the Sam's Club chicken, but you can't beat the price of the Publix's deal. Go Giants.

On your receipt is a corporate number/web site to take a survey. I complained about the facility and staff behavior and had a phone call from the general manager within the hour. Have been there a couple times since and it has been better.

I haven't been to that KFC yet. I've had it at publics, win dixie, golden corral, and Mc Call's Tavern. I do love my fried chicken

Surprising there was no follow up inspection required with 7 high priority violations..but then they don't count being out of biscuits and chicken.

Amazing that people will do a drive through so that they won't see what is really going on in the place.

Quality of workers and cleanliness of restaurant is the lifeline of a business.

We don't eat at KFC very often, maybe once or twice a year. When we do, we get the grilled chicken breast and buffet. I don't understand the need for crispy breading which is usually very greasy. Who needs all that grease and salt? Is this for people who are trying to gain weight? (Well, it might make your arteries heavier.)

About cleanlyness, I never noticed the place being dirty. The restroom may not always be as clean as it should be but that can happen on a busy day. Here's the thing about restaurants: Even restaurants that look clean may have deadly bacteria lurking everywhere. You can't see bacteria!

Anybody know, was this before the remodel and new management?
