Totally agree. A generously-filled taco with the mexican version of beef stew in it, with cheese and the usual other toppings. Plus rice, and beans, all for under $7. The chips are delicious, but I recommend asking for an extra side of pico de gallo instead of their salsa, if you want to dip the chips. The salsa tastes kind of like spiced ketchup. The rest of it (including the chips themselves) was delicious.

The only problem is that they have never heard of taco sauce. I like the tacos at Taco Bell better.

We like to go to Ay Jaliscos and order off the sides menu. My husband always gets the Chimichanga side which fills up the entire plate. I believe it is between $4.50 and $5.00. When i don't order a chimi I get the taco salad for aout $7.00. I always ask for mild sauce because i do not like the regular stuff. :coolsmiley:

I never thought about ordering the pico de gallo! I will have to try it, They do have a cheese dip which is also very good.

Shell station in Colony for burgers and other things...like fried bologna, liver and onions, chicken fried steak sandwiches...

Theirs was a little different from how I make it, but it's delicious nonetheless! It's kind of hard to screw up pico :)
